Doris E. Motley

1931 - 1994

Doris E. Motley passed away on February 20, 1994 after suffering from an asthma attack. Doris was an angel on Earth. She always put herself second to help everyone else. She leaves behind her husband, Tom, her son, Steve, her two daughters, Suzan and Kathy, as well as her pride and joy Chami, our little Bichon Frise.

It has been more than three years now since we lost our precious Mother, and still find it impossible to continue without her. But she is still helping by sending us all the strength to go on.

Our quilt square of the seal is a special memory of Mom. She dearly loved the seal and had several pictures and other items around the house. An artist friend, Robert Alan Holmes, painted the seal as a very special symbol in Mom's memory. Our love is with you forever, Mom, and you are missed with every beat of our hearts.

In My Mother's Memory

My heart aches forever more as heaven opened up its door.
They took my Angel up above, even they could sense her love.
Her peace from this world long overdue, it was her time for life anew.
And even though I'm all alone, she sends me strength to hold my own.
Yes my Angel has gone home, and I continue on my own,
But I know she will come for me, and we will share eternity ...
