Jerry L. Liller

April 9, 1943 - April 7, 2004

1033

Jerry was a devoted and loving husband and dad; he cherished his entire family, which included his pet dog, Teddy.  Jerry was taken from us very suddenly and it was, and still is, hard to know how to get along without him physically beside us.  We feel God took him early, but also know God has plans for him.  We miss him so very much, but we also know we will be together again someday.

Jerry and his wife, Beverly, lived the majority of their 40 years of marriage in Manassas, Virginia.  When their son, Jeff, joined them, their family was complete.  Jerry was a member of Manassas St. Thomas United Methodist Church where he enjoyed being an usher and a greeter.  His smile was contagious; he could always be counted on to put a smile on the faces of those with whom he came in contact.  He loved the Gaither gospel singers and enjoyed listening to their music especially on Sunday mornings before going to church.  He and Beverly loved to travel.  His dream was to see Alaska.  Several years ago they went on an Alaskan cruise and land trip and had a wonderful time.  There were also many other memorable vacations for which we are very grateful.  He enjoyed working in his workshop and made some very special things that are fond remembrances of him.  We treasure the years we had together; the memories are very vivid.

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.  I do not give to you as the world gives.  Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
John 14:27.
