Donate Life Plates Available in both Virginia and Maryland!

What better way to spread the message and power of organ, eye and tissue donation and transplantation than to order one of these tags and turn your car into a traveling Donate Life billboard. Better yet, order a plate for each car in your family and help to educate even more people that EVERYONE has the power to Donate Life by simply saying yes to donation!

Virginia

Donate Life plates in Virginia can be ordered in one of many different ways. Your new tag will replace your current plate. The plate costs $10 in addition to the standard registration fee. The  fee is collected by Virginia to cover the cost of the specialty plate. You may personalize your plate for an additional fee.

Maryland

Donate Life plates in Maryland can also be ordered in a number of different ways. WRTC works hand in hand with our sister organ recovery agency, The Living Legacy Foundation of Maryland, to make the process as easy as possible. Your new tag will replace your current plate. The $25 fee for the plate is to cover the cost of the specialty plate.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it  or call them at 410-242-7000 in order to request an "Application/Certificate for Organizational License Plates" from the Maryland MVA. A self-addressed, stamped envelope will be provided for your convenience.

Next, mail your application and your $25 fee to:

The tags will be mailed to you. Proudly display your new Donate Life tags on your vehicle and return your old tags to any Maryland MVA.

You can also get your Donate Life tags in person at your local Maryland MVA. Present the completed "Application/Certification for Organizational License Plate," the fee and your existing tags to receive your new Donate Life plate. Please be aware that not all locations carry all specialty tags and it is advised you call the MVA branch before you visit. Please look up your MVA office location here.
