In celebration of National Minority Donor Awareness Month, WRTC is proud to partner with Eventos VIP Pass magazine to help raise awareness and the importance for individuals within various multicultural communities--primarily of Hispanic origin--to register as organ, eye and tissue donors.  This annual event, newly renamed as Festival for Life will take place at the Veterans Plaza in Downtown Silver Spring on Sunday, August 18th, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. 

This year's Festival will feature music, dance, fashion, cultural runway, kids activities, health services, surprises and much more.  Stay tuned to find out who will be taking part of this year's Festival for Life.  This event hopes to bring together an audience of approximately 5,000 people from all across the D.C. metropolitan area – all who will enjoy an educational and inspiring event in a fun and family-friendly atmosphere.
