Invite a Speaker

noun 589961 F38F19As a commitment to actively continue to educate our community on organ, eye and tissue donation, we welcome speaking opportunities within our donation service area. We are open to a variety of speaking engagements and tailor our content to fit your event.
WRTC can help by coming to your class, be it an elementary, middle, or high school, and conducting a lesson for you! Our Community Education Specialists are usually requested for Career Day, Health Class, Driver’s Ed, or Biology lessons related to organ and tissue donation.
College/University level presentations usually involve professional development panels, student organized community events, or presentations in healthcare professional development courses (nursing courses, medical assistant courses, etc).
Professional organizations and community organizations are encouraged to have speakers at their events as the message of donation and transplantation can be such an impactful subject to discuss and we have donor families, recipients, and advocates who want to share their stories with their communities.
We are more than happy to mail educational materials to distribute to your class or group. If you would like to request materials, contact our Senior Community Education Specialist.
