In Memory of

Marcus Hamrick

Washington, D.C.

February 14, 1994 – December 10, 2018

My loved one, Marcus was a gentle soul with a beautiful, kind and warm heart. Marcus touched many lives with his charismatic personality and his charm. Marcus made friends wherever he went, touched many lives with his (before his time) wisdom, old soul. He was loved and cherished by many. One of the things Marcus taught me most was the root of forgiveness and how to love in spite of the situation or circumstance. I’m so proud of Marcus, he was a great dad to his daughter. I make sure Amariah knows just how loving and caring her dad was. I carry on the memory of my son Marcus deep in my heart, and I think about him daily. He’s missed dearly by his sister Lynnette, his nephew Preston and his mom and Lita and his partner Abbey. What I miss most about Marcus, his laughter, his smile and the long talks, his zeal and knowledge on life, his love for music and the love he shared for his baby girl Amariah. Though Marcus is no longer here in the present, his spirit lives on inside of me. Our entire family, a host of aunts, uncles, cousin and friends and myself thank you Marcus for the 24 years of life that you blessed us with. Until we meet again, rest easy my baby boy. Mommy misses you dearly.
