Hospital Services and Professional Education Specialist
Freddy Medina first started his career with Washington Regional Transplant Community in 2010, as a Community Education Specialist where he spearheaded the development of education programs which served to promote organ, eye and tissue donation. After a brief hiatus working for his family in Bolivia, Freddy returned to WRTC in 2017 as a Hospital Services and Professional Education Specialist and began to further develop WRTC’s relationships with local hospital partners. His professional resume expands the Association for Multicultural Affairs in Transplantation, and awards such as the Excellence Award in 2012 by the Hispanic VIP Gala and the Special Award for Bolivian Excellence from the Democracy Coalition and the US-Bolivia Business Council. Prior to his work at WRTC, Freddy served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve and received his B.S. in public administration from George Mason University.
