Kenneth W. Boyd

Kenneth W. Boyd entered the field of organ, eye and tissue donation when he joined WRTC in 1993 as a Clinical Recovery Associate. Since his induction, Kenneth has progressively contributed to the donation community serving on multiple committees and councils: UNOS Minority Affairs Committee, the AMAT Board of Directors, AMAT Bylaws Committee Chair, and as faculty for the National Learning Council. Kenneth’s career contributions to donation also expand several initiatives including The Study of Presumptive Approach to Organ Donation, University of Penn 2006; Member of the Advisory committee for the Washington Hospital Center’s Rapid Organ Recovery Program in 1993; Co-chair for the AOPO Hospital Development Council; and frequent contributor and presenter at local and national events. Receiving his medical training as an EMT-P and NREMP-P at the Washington Hospital Center, Kenneth currently serves on the National Leadership team for the HHS Workplace Partnership for Life (WPFL) initiative.
